
Pressure Filters
Purpose and Operation
Pressure filters are enclosed vessel filtration systems designed to remove a wide range of suspended and dissolved contaminants from water. Their performance is based on the use of filter media selected to match the specific water quality and treatment requirements of each application.
Filter media may include:
- single-layer filter media,
- combination of different filter media,
- specialized filter media selected for the targeted removal of specific contaminants.
Applications
In industrial and municipal water treatment applications, reducing undesirable substances in water is a common requirement. Pressure filters can be used to remove or reduce, among others:
- iron,
- manganese,
- ammonium,
- suspended solids,
- aggressive or process-undesirable constituents.
The selection of the appropriate filter media always depends on the composition of the water to be treated, the operating conditions, and the required water quality.

System Design
The systems are available with either manual or automatic backwashing. The vessels are manufactured from corrosion-resistant stainless steel in 304L or 316L grades, depending on the requirements of the application.
The corrosion-resistant construction, robust mechanical design, and customizable components ensure reliable long-term operation in demanding industrial environments.
